Mobile Field Shelter- 12’x24’
  • Height – Height to eaves 85” (2160mm), height to ridge 109” (2770mm). Excluding skis. Canopy – 36” (900mm) on mobiles 10’ (3.0m) deep and 48” (1220mm) on mobiles 12’ (3.6m) deep.
  • Bargeboards – Includes bargeboards, points and fascia board.
  • Openings – All field shelters have 70” (1780mm) wide openings.
  • Heavy Duty Steel Skis – Galvanized heavy duty Steel Skids – 3.25” x 3.25” (80x80mm) box section steel incorporating towing eyes at both ends. Framing – 2” x 3” (50mm x 75mm) nominal prepared CLS framing set at 24” (600mm) centres. Cladding – ½” x 6” (12mm x 150mm) finished, tanalised treated shiplap from selected timber.
  • Kickboards – ½” (12mm) OS board is fitted to 4’ (1220mm) on main framing, horizontal studwork inserted between framing prevents objects falling behind kickboards.
  • Roof Trusses – Our prefabricated raised roof trusses offer great strength plus increased internal headroom.
  • Roof Purlins – 2” x 4” (50mm x 100mm) CLS prepared selected graded timbers held in position with steel joist hangers which are fitted to 2” x 3” (50mm x 75mm) prefabricated timber apex frames.
  • Fascia Purlins – 2” x 5” (50mm x 125mm) giving additional strength for gutters.
  • Roof Cladding – Onduline is manufactured in Europe and has been extensively used worldwide for the last 40 years in all types of roofing systems, it is extremely durable.
  • Corner Bracing – Diagonal corner bracing to add extra support to walls when towing.
